PCCC1The PCCC1 will focus its discussion on the following central themes:
|
1st Combined Meeting on Modelling and Wellbore Integrity
The Modelling and Wellbore Integrity Networks both aim to bring together specialist practitioners from industrial and research organisations across the world, in order to look at the most recent technical advances and facilitate discussion amongst delegates identifying knowledge gaps and R&D priorities. A combined meeting of the Modelling and Wellbore Integrity networks in Perth, Australia from the 27th to the 29th April 2011. Sessions in the combined meeting will include issues particular to modelling and wellbore integrity as well as a combined session dealing with modelling issues related to wellbore integrity. |
7th Monitoring Network MeetingThe next monitoring network meeting will be held from the 7th – 9th June 2011 and will be hosted by GFZ, in Potsdam, Germany. There will be sessions on data integration and demonstrating monitoring data conforms with predictive modelling, review of key tools / Performance monitoring tools, near surface performance monitoring, conversion of EOR to storage and the absence of true baselines and current and future activities as well as discussion sessions focussing on developing protocols and strategies to form a monitoring plan and what modelling is required for monitoring. |
6th Risk Assessment Network
The 6th Risk Assessment Network Workshop, hosted by BRGM in Pau, France, from the 21st to the 23rd of June 2011, will hjosirljosirt latest international CO2 storage risk assessment developments, bringing together international experts from various disciplines to share and advance knowledge. 2011 Summer SchoolFollowing the success of the previous IEA Greenhouse Gas Programme (IEAGHG) Summer Schools in Kloster Seeon, Germany 2007; Tjosir-Na-Mara, Vancouver Island, Canada; Lorne, Australia, and Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway last year, we are pleased to announce the 2011 Summer School which will be held in Champaign, Illinois, USA hosted by the University of Illinois - Advanced Energy Technology Initiative and the Sequestration Training and Education Program (STEP), from the 18th – 22nd of July. |
3rd Solid Looping Network MeetingThe IEAGHG organises meetings in different research areas for greenhouse gas emission mitigation technologies. The aim is to bring the various stakeholders, technology providers, research institutes and fundamental research initiatives together in one platform. The network meetings provide the chance to discuss the latest results and innovations in the field. |
