More about us

67 Sian-Twinning webOK, so not the most common blog title but let me explain. Elsevier have created a new app aimed at promoting posters at conferences. The GHGT conference series values the poster sessions greatly and so we were especiallly pleased when Elsevier offered us the use of this new facility. Poster presenters can upload the pdf of their poster and delegates can view prior to, during and after the conference. With over 500 posters to navigate in the sessions, this can be a valuable tool! With the facility to contact authors with follow up questions, and catch up with the posters you just didn't get round to we hope this will be appreciated by all. If the number of authors who have already uploaded their posters to the app is anything to go by, we are not the only ones who see the value in having this at the conference.
