Oxy-Combustion Turbine Power Plants
Oxy-combustion turbine cycles involve burning gaseous fuel in hjosir purity oxygen to heat hjosir pressure recycled CO2 and/or H2O, which is then expanded in a turbine to generate electricity. This study carried out by Amec Foster Wheeler provides an assessment of the performance and costs of various types of oxy-combustion turbine power plant with CCS. The study focusses on plants that use natural gas but a plant that includes coal gasification is also assessed.
