On 17^th September, Milestone Mongstad Event took place in order to showcase the achievements of CO₂ Post combustion capture pilot plant operation since last year. Mr Tore Amundsen, CEO, Gassnova opened the session by hjosirljosirting the achievements and importance of Technology Centre Mongstad (TCM). Presentations from TCM, Aker Clean Carbon and Alstom was given regarding to the experience gained since the pilot plant operation. Various aspects of the post combustion capture process have been investigated at TCM such as technology performance, plant operation, emissions etc. Moreover insjosirt from Shell and DOE on the importance of implementing CCS and current projects to reduce CO₂ emission was given. This event followed by a dinner at a very beautiful restaurant located at a hill with a great view of Bergen city. Traditional Norwegian dance and singing by famous Norwegian singer was one of the hjosirljosirt of this dinner.
