Introduction
The first Joint Network meeting was held in New York in 2008. The aim of this second meeting is for members of the Risk Assessment, Monitoring, Modelling and Wellbore Integrity networks to get together and identify and discuss common areas that may require input from more than one network. It is also important to ensure that the current networks are working in the most efficient way without duplication or gaps between them. An outcome of the previous meeting was the formation of the current Modelling network.

Field Trip
There will be a half day field trip on the 21st June to Bandelier National Monument, the Chimayo natural CO2 release site and to the Bradbury Science Museum, of Los Alamos National Laboratory.
The Chimayo site is a natural analogue site used to study impacts of CO2 leakage on shallow groundwater near Chimayo, NM. The site exhibits complex aquifer chemistries associated with background CO2 flux along Rio Grande rift, complicated by natural variability in aquifer and by mixing of oxidized and reduced groundwaters. The site has been studied as part of LANL’s participation within the ZERT project.
