Capturing the world’s thinking around carbon emissions

IEAGHG is at the forefront of CCS research. We advance technology that reduces carbon emissions and accelerates the deployment of CCS projects by improving processes, reducing costs, and overcoming barriers. Established in 1991, we were the first international organisation focussed on CCS, and played key roles in many CCS breakthroughs, and continue to do so today.

We are a technology collaboration programme (TCP) of the International Energy Agency. Together, the TCPs mission is to work with governments and industries around the world to advance the research, development and commercialisation of energy technologies.
