Webinar – COP29 Reflections with Tim Dixon and Wafa Jafri

Post COP29, we are excited to co-host a webinar with UKCCSRC, featuring important reflections on COP29 by Tim Dixon, Director of IEAGHG, and Wafa Jafri, Head of Energy Strategy at KPMG.

With a wealth of experience working in CCS, Tim has been actively involved in representing CCS in UNFCCC and various international agreements since 2004. Tim will share his initial reflections on COP29, providing valuable insights gained from his participation in previous COP events as well.

Wafa is the Head of Energy Strategy at KPMG, leading KPMG’s work on energy transition including advising clients on the value creation opportunity from CCUS.  She hosted a roundtable discussion on CCUS, outlining the global opportunity, at COP29, and will share her reflections from the event.

The webinar will be chaired by Jen Roberts (UKCCSRC and University of Strathclyde).
