Senior Technology Analyst

Nikki’s role covers the management of CO2 storage technical studies. She holds a BSc in geology from the University of Edinburgh, a PhD from the University of Cambridge and a diploma in Management Studies from the University of Gloucestershire. She has 8 years experience in the oil and gas industry, and has worked in the public and third sector.
 

Richard is an experienced R&D program manager at Southern Company with a demonstrated history of working in the electrical utility industry. Skilled in area of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), bulk energy storage, geothermal power, and associated environmental permitting and regulations. Strong educational background in both engineering and geology with a PhD in engineering from University of Alabama at Birmingham and a B.S. and M.S. in geology from Auburn University.

Technology Analyst

Abdul’Aziz's role includes the design and scope of technical studies on key technical areas, specifically carbon capture on industrial processes and hydrogen production. Abdul’Aziz has a Master’s degree in ‘Energy and Environment’ from the University of Leeds and Doctorate degree from the University of Sheffield in ‘Post-combustion Carbon Capture’.

Juho is Coordinator of the Clean Energy Ministerial CCUS Initiative. He is responsible for the day-to-day running of all the activities of the initiative. Before this, between 2010 and 2018, Juho was Head of Carbon Capture and Storage Unit at the International Energy Agency and acting Head of Energy Technology Policy Division. Before joining the IEA, Juho held several positions at Eurelectric in Brussels. He is based in Paris, France.

Senior Technology Analyst
Keith co-ordinates activities undertaken by IEAGHG relating to costs and performance of CO₂ capture technologies, plus covering issues around integration. Keith chairs the Steering Committee for IEAGHG’s successful Post-Combustion Capture Conference series and is also a member of the Steering Committee of IEAGHG’s CCS Cost Network.

Senior Technology Analyst
Jasmin has managed technical studies on CO₂dehydration, pipeline transportation, accounting for GHG emissions from Bio-CCS and CO₂-EOR, CCS clusters, regional CCS developments and unburnable carbon. Her other work areas include IEAGHG’s network on solid looping technologies, sustainability issues, LCA, non-CO₂ GHGs and CO₂ utilisation.f CO₂within geological formations.

Technology Analyst

Monica manages technical studies on the areas of emerging CO₂ capture technologies, CCS in the industrial sector, environmental impact of amine-based capture plants, and cost methodologies. Apart from being technical expert in her field, she is involved in the cost network and manages technical aspects of the Post Combustion Capture Conferences.
